Course description
Professionals and students who understand the theory and concepts of project planning, scheduling and control are often frustrated by the difficulty of apply them in Microsoft® Project. This Webinar will provide insight into some of its hidden capability and how that can be utilized in planning and controlling projects.
About the presenter:
David Crane is a respected authority in Project Management consultation and training. He has delivered consulting services and training to thousands of employees of major firms throughout the United States.
David brings with him over thirty five years of management, consulting, training and software experience. During the last twenty two years he has provided project planning consultation and training to over 200 corporations from the fields of computer software, hardware, automotive engineering, energy, municipal engineering and manufacturing.
He has extensive knowledge and experience with Project Management software tools including 14 years using Microsoft Project as well as experience with Primavera Project Planner, Sure Track, MAPPS, Open Plan and others. He has developed customized Views, Tables, Filters and Reports in Microsoft® Project. These customized features support a simple, logical approach to project planning and control. This approach is shared with clients both in the classroom and through consulting.
He currently serves as a member of the Boston University Corporate Education Center adjunct facility where, for the past fifteen years, he has provided training and consulting services for their Management Development Programs. He co-authored the book titled, EFFECTIVE PROJECT MANAGEMENT, Wiley 1995 - 2000 (Second Edition), ISBN 0-471-36028-7
