(1) What are the requirements for PMI PMP or CAPM certifications?
To be considered for any PMI certification, candidates must first meet specific educational and experience requirements and agree to meet PMI's strict code of professional ethics. The final step to receiving PMI certification is to pass a multiple-choice, 200-question examination designed to measure project management knowledge. PMI certification exam questions are created by other professionals who have already achieved PMI certification. Those who receive PMI certification must demonstrate ongoing project management expertise by completing continuing education requirements.
