The Project Management Subjective Skills Assessment Tool

This self-paced, online tool evaluates project management skill knowledge in all three project management competency components: Project Management Technical, Personal, and Business/ Leadership. The assessment contains more than 100 items on which the individual is rated. The subjective skills assessment tool:
  • Evaluates the level of a project manager's knowledge against a skills profile,
  • Can be customized to evaluate a specific set of skills, and
  • Identifies skills gaps between project manager's perception of skills sets and the manager's perception of his/her skills sets.

Reporting features

Once the assessment is complete, the individual will be able to see his/her overall knowledge in each of the three components: Technical (project management), Personal, and Business/ Leadership. The individual's supervisor will have access to the same information. Using this information, the supervisor and individual can review skill gaps between the requirements of the role and the project manager's expertise and determine an appropriate project management training development plan.
