Microsoft Certified Database Administrator
As the market demand for SQL Server and Windows-based databases
increases, the need for skilled database administrators is
on the rise. The job title and function of a Database Administrator
is a well-recognized skill set in the industry. Database professionals
are renowned for participating in conceptual and logical data
modeling, physical design, implementation, maintenance, and
support of databases.
If your primary job function is to design
and administer a database, you should pursue the Microsoft
Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) certification. By
earning the premier MCDBA credentials, you are demonstrating
you have the skills necessary to lead your organization in
the successful design, implementation, and administration
of SQL Server databases. This certification is beneficial
for Database Administrators, Analysts, and Developers.
The current Database Administrator has a
wide range of responsibilities and functions that require
knowledge of more than just SQL Server. To become a MCDBA,
you must take a number of core courses and the corresponding
exams.
