BABOK v.2 Update - Out with the Old, In with the New

Catch up on the latest developments in the release of the Business Analysis Book Of Knowledge (BABOK) Version 2.0. Changes and improvements are coming to the six knowledge areas, tools and techniques. Finally, definition of those missing portions. What does it mean for you? When will the update hit the streets? Is it time to get started on that CBAP certification?
This webinar features Bruce Chadbourne - a 30+ year veteran of defense systems and IT software engineering, spanning service as a U.S. Naval Officer (Nuclear Propulsion), followed by Engineering Project Management with GE, Lockheed Martin and the U.S. Navy. His experience ranges from Systems/ Software development to Integration & Test for military systems, commercial networks, and consumer software products. He has held technical certifications prior to working directly in project management. Bruce has established company Project Management/Support Offices and developed integrated management processes in concert with capability maturity models (CMM-I). His final accomplishments have been in the areas of cost account management, business planning and financial analysis, for programs in excess of $70M.
In addition to independent consulting, Bruce has served as a professional instructor of Project Management and Business Analysis certificate programs for over 8 years for numerous industry clients. His expertise in risk management initiatives has been recognized throughout the Lockheed Martin Corporation and BAE SYSTEMS. Bruce is a member of the New Hampshire chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and is a charter member and former Director of the PMI Risk Management SIG. He speaks and writes periodically for PMI, IIBA, and other international organizations. He recently co-authored the book “The Professional’s Guide to Risk Assessment (2004)” with Paula K. Martin.

This webinar features Chance Reichel a Project Management Consultant and Adjunct Professor for Boston University. Mr. Reichel has more than twenty years of project management experience, most notably for large consulting firms that specialize in project management field operations for numerous types of clients. Mr. Reichel has provided project management expertise to more than sixty-five Fortune 500 clients as well as to several branches of the U.S. Government. Mr. Reichel has served in The US Navy, working Intelligence and Operations projects. Chance also has shared his expertise with the US Department of Energy, serving as department manager in Environmental, Safety & Health and Waste Transportation departments for a major decommissioning project. He has also visited many of the DOE field sites to provide project management training and instruction expertise. Commercially, Mr. Reichel has worked with many Defense and Energy Department contractors, providing them with project management expertise.
