About Boston University Corporate Education Center
As New England’s premier corporate training provider, the Boston University Corporate Education Center (BUCEC) in Tyngsboro, Massachusetts is part of the Division of Extended Education of Boston University. BUCEC offers comprehensive classroom and online seminar and certification programs in business, management, and technology to further enhance individual and organization professional development.
BUCEC and DAU
BUCEC is proud to be in partnership with the Defense Acquisition University (DAU), offering top-ranked management development and information technology certificate programs and seminars to military and civilian employees in the DoD acquisition, technology, and logistics workforce (DoD AT&L Workforce). Courses taken through DAU may be eligible toward a BUCEC certificate program on a case-by-case basis.

BUCEC Program Offerings
BUCEC currently offers the following non-degree certificate programs and seminars. Any member of the DoD AT&L Workforce is eligible to register for and attend any of the below listed certificate programs or seminars, as well as new certificate programs and seminars that may become available.

Course Waiver Options
The following DAU courses will waive comparable BUCEC courses toward your BUCEC Certificate in Project Management:
- BCF204 Intermediate Cost Analysis - waives MDP270 Project Cost Management
- CON120 Mission Focused Contracting or CON202 Intermediate Contracting or CON244 Construction Contracting - waives MDP274 Project Procurement Management
Course waiver options are provided for Boston University’s Master of Science in Project Management (MSPM) degree program offered through the Boston University Metropolitan College as follows:
- Certificate in Project Management - 2 course waivers
Complete BUCEC's instructor-led or online Certificate in Project Management and earn course waivers in the Boston University Metropolitan College Master of Science in Project Management (MSPM) degree program. For eligible students, the Corporate Education Center’s instructor-led or online Certificate in Project Management waives two (2) course requirements for the MSPM degree program.
- Certificate in Applied Project Management (evening program) - 1 course waiver
Complete BUCEC's Certificate in Applied Project Management (evening program) and earn a course waiver in the Boston University Metropolitan College Master of Science in Project Management (MSPM) degree program. The Certificate in Applied Project Management waives one (1) course requirement for the MSPM degree program.
