Individual Courses
You may take any of the courses individually. Complete the nine PMBOK® knowledge-area classes listed below (online or instructor-led) to receive a Project Management Certificate. Note: MDO225 may not be applied toward a Project Management Certificate.
Please note:
- Students must complete each course within 60 days of enrollment or less. If a student does not complete their entire program within the allotted time, their access is subject to termination. Refunds will not be provided for any unused or incomplete courses.
- Completion times for bundles are as follows:
MDB507A: must complete within 2 years of enrollment or less
MDB504A: must complete within 180 days of enrollment or less
MDB505A: must complete within 180 days of enrollment or less
MDB506A: must complete within 180 days of enrollment or less
Participants must meet the following technical requirements in order to participate in any BUCEC Online Project Management course:
- Hardware: PC
- High-speed internet connection
- Screen Resolution: 1024 x 768 or higher
- Operating System (either of the following):
- Windows XP with Service Pack 2 OR Windows Vista
OR Windows 7
- Browsers (either of the following):
- Internet Explorer 6 or higher OR FireFox 2 or higher
- Microsoft Word 2003 or higher
- Microsoft Excel 2003 or higher (for some courses)
- Adobe Reader 8.1 or higher
- Adobe Flash Player 9 or higher
- The Macintosh platform is NOT supported

Apply your Project Management Training to a Masters Degree at Boston University.
Certificate in Project Management - 2 course waivers
Complete BUCEC's instructor-led or online Certificate in Project Management and earn course waivers in the Boston University Metropolitan College Master of Science in Project Management (MSPM) degree program. For eligible students, the Corporate Education Center’s instructor-led or online Certificate in Project Management waives two (2) course requirements for the MSPM degree program.
Certificate in Applied Project Management (Evening Program) – 1 course waiver
Complete BUCEC's Certificate in Applied Project Management (evening program) and earn a course waiver in the Boston University Metropolitan College Master of Science in Project Management (MSPM) degree program. The Certificate in Applied Project Management waives one (1) course requirement for the MSPM degree program.
Successful completion of these CEC certificate programs will not guarantee acceptance to the master's degree program; students must complete the BU Metropolitan College graduate application and apply for admission.
